It is an estate wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. The name of the vineyard refers to the French port Le Havre, in which Jean Leon embarked as stowaway to the United States where he would change his life. Aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels. Ángel Ceferino Carrión Medrazo (real name of Jean Leon) dedicated his life to travel and work, from waiter in France to dishwasher and a taxi driver in New York (3055 was his license). In 1963 and after setting up his own restaurant in Beverly Hills, he bought 150 hectares in the Alto Penedés, and risked planting as a pioneer in Spain Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, to begin his career in wine production, and become a reference to world level.
