Monastrell monovarietal from 30-year-old vines that are grown at an altitude of 750 meters on 2 estates of Bodegas Castaño: Pozuelo and Las Gruesas. After the harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and is subsequently bottled without stabilizing. He has no aging. The Castaño Family is one of the leaders in the wine sector of Yecla (Murcia), due to its trajectory and achievements obtained with the most deeply rooted variety in the area: the Monastrell. They have vineyards with an area of almost 600 hectares distributed in different parts of the D.O. Yecla. At present, the sons of Ramón Castaño have been introducing the latest technological advances both in the winery and in the vineyard, with a common objective: quality.
