CVNE Contino Reserva 2018

Contino Reserva is a red wine blend of the Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo varieties, produced by the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (C.V.N.E), protected by the DOCa La Rioja. The grapes come from soils with different characteristics (alluvial, clayey-calcareous, saline and sandy) in the Viñedos del Contino in La Rioja Alavesa. It undergoes malolactic fermentation spontaneously, for a subsequent aging of 24 months, 20% in American oak barrels and 80% in French oak, with a final refining in the bottle, in the cellar, before we can enjoy it. It is elegant and round, and defines the precise work of one of the historical groups of La Rioja, which since 1879 has been producing high quality wines.
