Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi began its journey in 1985, in Laguardia, Álava, as a group of viticulturists with deep-rooted customs and a common view of the vineyard and the wines. In 1992, both the Lacalle and Laorden families took over the reins and started what is now Artadi, shortly after expanding the extension of the vineyard in Navarra, Alicante and Guipúzcoa. Its premise is (and has always been) to recover that good work of its grandparents, based on respect for the terroir and the vineyard, currently producing organically.
