They are harvested manually, with a selection of clusters in the vineyard. Fermentation, in cement, is done with native yeasts.

Description
Lz de Lanzaga comes from estates in Lanziego de Álava where Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano are bush vines. The estates, Campoluengo, Las Rozas, Castillejo, El Romeral, Agozaderas and El Plano have clay-calcareous soils, with slopes of erosion. They are harvested manually, with a selection of clusters in the vineyard. Fermentation, in cement, is done with native yeasts. The wine is aged for about six months in a cement tank, after which it is refined in the bottle until Telmo Rodríguez judges it at its point of consumption. A great little wine that we like so much.
