Terroir al Limit Històric Negre 2019

Terroir al Limit has started with its elaborations a new interpretation of the prestigious and historic wine region of Priorat. It was the monks of the Escaladei Monastery who introduced viticulture a few centuries ago, with which very different wines were made from those that this area has accustomed us to date, and it is in these monastic wines that Dominik Huber, winemaker from from the Bavarian Region of Germany, in love with the priory since its arrival in 1996, has wanted to recover or reinterpret with the help of Jaume Sabaté, a viticulturist in the region with extensive knowledge of the area and love for his work.

This perfect tandem searches for fresh, light and tasty wines, as they were made at the time, using unique techniques in which shorter macerations, barrels of greater volumes, early harvests and fermentations with scratches, with which to equip their wines of that unusual freshness in the area without losing the varietal character.

Terroir Históric was born as a tribute to the towns that paid tribute to the Prior of the Escaladei Monastery, a fruit wine that is light, tasty and easy to drink.
