Haut Brion 2012 is a red wine made by the Dillon family with the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties in the Graves appellation of origin, in Bordeaux, France. Of him Robert Parker said that he was without a doubt one of the candidates for vintage wine, with a dense purple color, classic nose of crushed rock, pencil shavings of mine, black raspberry, blueberries and flowers. The wine shows subtle hints of barbecue smoke in the background, but is full-bodied, surprisingly concentrated, and builds up gradually, but ends with luxurious, almost extravagant amounts of fruit and intensity.
