Description
La Zorrina is an iconic and ancient vineyard with slopes of up to 30%, only cultivable thanks to its slate terraces where a very unique Albarín Negro and Carrasquín have been cultivated for more than 80 years. Perhaps it is one of the most picturesque and extreme vineyards in the DOP Cangas. It is a vineyard hidden in a small valley in the Narcea region, which enjoys perfect sun exposure in a climate as extreme as that of Asturias for its cool temperatures and extensive rainfall, and whose cultivation is completely manual and respectful with the tradition of the area, with short pruning, organic fertilization and where the load is limited to 500g of grapes per plant. Manual harvest in boxes of 15kgs, selection of bunches, destemming without squeezing. Microvinification in 500-liter tanks with spontaneous fermentation. Malolactic in French oak barrels followed by nine months of aging and refining in the bottle. An incomparable wine. The viticulture to reach such an expression of the terroir is of extraordinary merit, and the craftsmanship with which it works in the winery, make each bottle a unique piece.
