Monovarietal Tempranillo from the El Bosque estate in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, La Rioja, with a vineyard planted in 1973. Loamy clay soils, sandy in texture and calcareous clay in composition. Abundant pebble that brings freshness. A minimal intervention and manual harvest, selecting grain by grain by hand. Fermented in French oak vat with selected yeast in the vineyard itself, maceration of approximately 20 days with skins, malolactic in new French oak barrels and 5% in Central European oak. The aging is carried out for 18 months in new Bordeaux, French and central European barrels. It is an extraordinary wine in all the breadth of the adjective, ripe fruit and complex balsamic notes, with a strong body, but round, pleasant tannin. A wine to share, to get to know La Rioja more elegant.
