- Clos St. Antonin Cotes du Rhone 2018
The basic Cotes du Rhone, which they call "tradition", is made primarily from Grenache, along with small amounts of Mourvedre and Syrah. All the grapes come from the surroundings of Jonquières. With 20% whole bunch, the wine is sweet but with the nerve of that small proportion of stalk. The wine is aged for less than a year in concrete vats and tanks.
Aimé and Isabel Sabón, father and daughter in charge of the Domaine de La Janasse, acquired this property in 2014 and presented us with a concise but highly precise range of wines.
