San Cucufate Monasterio 2017San Cobate
Out of stock
The wine is a single varietal of Tinto Fino that lives up to its name. A classic wine without any excess neither in the vineyard nor in the elaboration (fermentation in cement with whole cluster, aging in used barrels and large cask), where everything is in its place and the set is harmonious, elegant and above all very fine.
San Cobate presents its estate wine: San Cucufate Monasterio. It comes from a plot of just 1.6 hectares planted more than eight hundred and sixty meters in Gumiel del Mercado in the province of Burgos. It is a special estate, in which there is a diversity of plantations, including oaks and all kinds of vegetation adapted to very-very poor soil with a strongly calcareous component. The wine is a single varietal of Tinto Fino that lives up to its name. Because the wine is very fine. It shows a perfect adaptation of the variety to the terroir and reminds us both on the nose and in the mouth of those great Riberas del Duero that brought the name to fame. A classic wine without any excess neither in the vineyard nor in the elaboration (fermentation in cement with whole cluster, aging in used barrels and large cask), where everything is in its place and the set is harmonious, elegant and above all very fine.

Do not get rid of the ink in this can of Espinaler squid because it is part of a classic but infallible tandem: all the contents of this can on the plate and some thinly sliced potatoes fried in good olive oil. We advise you to have a remnant of it in the pantry because it will undoubtedly be a recurring dish.
It is an estate wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. The name of the vineyard refers to the French port Le Havre, in which Jean Leon embarked as stowaway to the United States where he would change his life. Aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
Located in the town of Fompedraza, near Aranda del Duero, at 895 meters above sea level, is Pago del Cielo, where Miguel Torres makes this Celeste Oak, with selected grapes from Tinto Fino, and 3 months in barrel . Ideal for drinking and for informal snacks. It is the first link in the winery.

A quality aperitif that Conservas Siglo XXI offers us, making it very easy for us. This pack of two different cans has sea bass on one side and gold on the other. In both cases, the fish is treated in an exceptional way, delicate and silky fillets, bathed in a fine extra virgin olive oil.
Komokabras Verde 2019 is the 100% Albariño monovarietal produced by the Entre os Ríos Winery in Rías Baixas, the result of a maceration prior to gentle pressing, wild yeasts and a mixture of must fermentations in two different tanks, one of them worked on lees. and malolactic fermentation, the other does not. Complex, fresh and slightly glyceric wine.
Castiñeiro is a plot in Aldea do Monte in Lois-Ribadumia planted with Albariño and Espadeiro in “emparrado”. The Albariño was macerated 48h and after pressing the must fermented in 3 amphorae of uncoated white ceramic of 350 liters. The nose is very oxidative, the most interesting is the volume in the mouth, it is very fatty and round.
It is possible that there is a sardinilla in the world better than La Sardinilla Lafuente. Tiny 22 sardines, almost creamy, many shiny silver loins in each can, with a very clean oil in which we will dip bread and more bread.
