Chateau Latour
Les Forts de Latour 2014
- Vino Tinto
In March 2020 Lisa Perrotti-Brown wrote this while testing the fascinating 2014 from Les Forts de Latour.
“It is a blend of 71.4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28.6% Merlot. Deep maroon purple in color, it takes a bit of persuasion to reveal aromas of black currant, baked plums and young blackberries with hints of wood smoke, fragrant earth, cast iron skillet and charcuterie, plus a slight burst of black truffles. Medium-bodied, earthy, salty on the palate, it has lots of lively black fruit with a refreshing line and firm, grainy tannins, ending with a lingering ferrous note. " RP93
