August Kesseler Momentum Gaudeo Pinot Noir 2017August Kesseler
Coming from farms in Lorch, Assmanshausen and Rüdesheim, it is a leap forward in intensity compared to Pinot N that we can consider an entry-level wine. This Pinot Noir is more mature, concentrated and intense, with cherries and minerality that give precision, with great finesse and elegance.
August Kesseler took over the reins of the family winery in 1924, when he was only 19 years old and in the Rheingau area they mainly made bulk. At that time, the winery had only two and a half hectares of the more than 22 they have today. Today they have a magnificent heritage of vineyards in the best areas of the Rheingau such as Assmannshäuser Höllenberg, Rüdesheimer Berg Schlossberg, Rüdesheimer Bischofsberg, Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck or Lorcher Schlossberg. With a balanced production between Riesling and Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir), they are one of the best producers in the Rheingau and especially thanks to the quality of their reds. The technical team is made up of the winemaker Max Himstedt, a legend in the house, who was recently joined by the young Simon Batarseh, to direct the near future of this great house with August Kesseler, which surprises us more every year.

Cos cultivates the olive trees of the Tonda Iblea variety with the same biodynamic cultivation techniques that they use for their wines. Because there is only one way to go, it is not possible to think twice. Because oil, like wine, in Sicily is above all a cultural issue, dating back to ancient times. And millennial, centennial, are the trees that make...
This Lorch is equivalent to what in Burgundy terminology would be a village wine. It comes from vineyards that, in fact, are found in the village of Lorch with blackboard and quartzite floors. It is a wine that does not give up lightness but shows us the breed in the mouth, without preventing us from continuing to drink and drink.
Maccheroni, caserecce, lumaconi or fusilli, ideal for dishes that require harder pasta such as a fresh summer salad, or a delicious spaghetti without the need for much company, since in itself, it has a lot of flavor. Very versatile, we offer it natural, with Indian turmeric, Italian green pepper or squid ink. It takes about 5/6 minutes to cook to firm,...
The mythical grayish pasta Pizzocchero, from Valtelina, Lombardy, is a mixture of Italian hard grain semolina and whole buckwheat flour that in Pasta Negri they make by hand. Conchiglie or pizzoccheri, call us classics, but we can't imagine a better pasta for a spoonful of pesto. Also tagliolini in a "gluten free" version. It takes about 11/12 minutes to...
