OKA is a basic Burgundy from farms that are not owned by Domaine but that Cyprien Arlaud cultivates and vinifies as an additional line to that of Domaine. Oka, by the way, is the name of the horse with which the vines are grown.
OKA is a basic Burgundy from estates that are not owned by Domaine but that Cyprien Arlaud cultivates and vinifies as an additional line to that of Domaine. Same qualitative standards at a slightly lower price. Cyprien Arlaud is very aware of the problem of dying of success that is affecting Burgundy. The family property has the size it has, the price of the vineyard is very high and small producers do not really have the ability to buy new vines to increase the production of the Domaine and thus solve a demand that continues to grow. So, a few years ago, it reached agreements with vineyard owners to handle their cultivation and introduce a new line, officially separate from that of the Domaine, but with the same qualitative standards. We do not speak in this case of buying grapes, must or wine, since Cyprien himself has control over the vineyard.

A small great wine that has surprised us very pleasantly. Made with Syrah and Tempranillo from organic farming, the wine stands out for its fruitiness and freshness. Fruit in seasoning, some spice (pepper), mouth with sweet tannin, good acidity and long drink. A master purchase.
Contrary to what it might seem, Domaine Baudry's basic wine is not the one named after the Domaine, but Les Granges. Made with grapes from the alluvial estates that are on the banks of the Vienne, it is a lighter, fresh, fruity wine, with the character of Cabernet Franc and that we recommend enjoying in your youth or in your first five years of life.
In the village of Monovar (Alicante) the Monastrell is grown from bush vineyards, on sandy and sandy loam soils. From the Collado de Salinas, Madara, Falcones, Solaneta and Tumanes estates, this Almuvedre is manually harvested, which is then vinified in steel and concrete.
Gaba do Xil is made with estates from the village of Larouco, in Orense. They are vineyards of Mencía, organized in banks due to the steep slopes facing south, west and northwest, stony, acid and thick textures. Developed from granodiorites (granites). Low fertility, low water retention capacity. It is harvested by hand and fermented in steel with native...
