Enrique Mendoza began to make wine in the late 70s for family consumption, but this hobby became professional dedication, and it is in 1989 when the company is founded, becoming one of the great wineries of the DO Alicante. The family has 2 facilities, one for aging in Alfaz del Pi and another for processing in Villena (Finca El Chaconero). Today his sons accompany him in the elaboration of the wines being his target the conservation of the old vines and the recovery of the native varieties.
