Ángel Ceferino Carrión Medrazo (Jean Leon's real name) dedicated his life to traveling and working, from a waiter in France to a dish boy and a taxi driver in New York (3055 was his license). In 1963 and after setting up his own restaurant in Beverly Hills, he bought 150 hectares in the Alto Penedés, and took risks by planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay as a pioneer in Spain, to start his journey in the production of wines, and become a benchmark in world level.
