Martin Berdugo crianza is made with Tempranillo from sandy and alluvial soils, with pebbles and limestone deposits, always seeking, as usual in the winery, the maximum respect for the environment and variety, preserving its quality. Aging on fine and malolactic lees for between three and six weeks, once the alcoholic fermentation has finished. The wine spends between 12 and 14 months in French and American oak barrels. Abundant black and red fruit, good structure and pleasant in the drink.

Fifteen years ago Josefina Martín Berdugo and her son Antonio began their adventure in the world of wine from a 10-hectare vineyard planted on a terrace at the confluence of the Duero and Arandilla rivers, in Aranda de Duero. The floodplain and abundant boulders were so poor that any other crop was unfeasible. After the vineyard and the sale of grapes to other wineries, not without much sacrifice and enthusiasm since the project is 100% family-owned, they decided to take the next step: winemaking. They wanted to gain a foothold in the booming offer of Ribera del Duero wines and decided to offer modern, more fruity and elegant wines; trying to add something new to the increasingly curious group of wine lovers. A wine to enjoy and reach an audience that is restless and sensitive to details. The mainstay of the project is the fruit and it shows. Despite having a young vine, pruning and other meticulous practices carried out throughout the vine cycle, ensure optimal phenolic maturation. The harvest, which is carried out by hand, allows the selection of the fruit to be completed from the field. The elaboration tries to express the character of the payment in the most natural way possible: using autochthonous yeasts (by means of a vat base that is prepared with grapes from a select area of ??the vineyard and their subsequent planting) and extracting the essence of the fruit by means of a meticulous control of fermentation temperatures and abundant pump-overs. Filtering prior to bottling is very shallow.
