Alba Abiega, from Zero represents the first chapter of Alba's story in Ribera del Duero.In its first month on the market, the Gourmets Guide recognized it as "Best Red Wine 2024," awarding it 96 points, while the Peñín Guide rated it 91 points. Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from our organic high-altitude vineyard, Alba Abiega, from Zero combines the natural freshness of the grape with the finesse imparted by nine months of aging in 225-liter French oak barrels. With an intense purple-red color, the nose is dominated by black and red fruit, accompanied by subtle notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. It is a fruity, round, and luscious wine, designed for those seeking a Ribera del Duero with personality, freshness, and its own unique story to tell.Alba en Ribera was born from the union of two generations: Alba Abiega, a former Tesla executive with over 20 years of experience in various multinational companies, and her father, Enrique Abiega, with more than 45 years of experience leading some of Rioja's most renowned wine groups.
