Susana Esteban, Spanish born in Tui, began her career as a winemaker in 1999, at Quinta do Côtto, having subsequently worked as a winemaker at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Duero. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, in particular Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha. In 2012, after finding several vineyards with ideal characteristics for her project, she decided to make "Aventura", a wine without wood and with an accentuated freshness and character.
