Syrah
Terra Vinum 2020 comes from the Jumilla region, crafted by Elena Pacheco of Bodegas Viña Elena. This project celebrates the culture and heritage of the land through wine. Made with Monastrell (60%), Garnacha (25%), and Syrah (15%), the grapes come from 30-year-old vineyards planted on sandy-clay and limestone soils at 750 meters altitude. Each variety is fermented separately in concrete and stainless steel, with whole berries lightly crushed to achieve an honest, approachable, and balanced wine. Its garnet-purple color is accompanied by aromas of red and black fruit, earthy notes, and a silky, fine palate with integrated acidity and structure, perfectly harmonized despite its 14% alcohol content.
