Tentenublo Custero 2024

Direct, traditional and to refresh. This is how Roberto Olivan describes his Custero, a mixture of varieties that Tentenublo knows well: Garnacha, Tempranillo, Viura, Malvasía, Calagraño, Garnacha Gris, Graciano, Monastrell and Malvasía Riojana, it comes from its own vineyard, between four and seven years old, in Viñaspre, Álava. It is an area with strong Atlantic and Mediterranean influences depending on the vintage. Harvested manually in boxes of 20 kilos, all the varieties ferment together in an open vat, with the whole bunch. It is an old-fashioned wine, with little intervention that results in an authentic, simple and tasty wine that is a pleasure to drink.
