Malpastor Crianza 2022 pays tribute to the early viticulture pioneers of the Sonsierra region, known as the “Malos Pastores,” who devoted themselves to the first grapes and wines at the expense of tending their flocks. Made entirely from Tempranillo, this wine captures the tradition and vitality of the Rioja terroir.
Aged one month on fine lees in concrete vats and 12 months in French and American oak barrels, it achieves a perfect balance between the fresh fruit of Tempranillo and the elegance of the oak. Malpastor 2022 is an elegant wine with body and freshness, ideal with meats, traditional stews, and cured cheeses.
