Description

Remordimiento represents a more austere profile of Monastrell, influenced by the winery's Mediterranean vineyards, which are 25 to 50 years old. It is a balanced, fresh and deep wine, coming from lands of limestone sand and gravel where the Monastrell acquires a characteristic finesse of the elevated areas of the Mediterranean. It is a village wine that represents the coldest places in the town of Fuente-Álamo. 85% Monastrell with 15% Garnacha. Manual harvest and selection of grapes by hand. Spontaneous fermentation in clay amphoras, open barrels and used wooden vats. 8 Months of Aging. Organic and biodynamic viticulture.

At Bodegas Cerrón they know what they want and work to achieve it. They belong to the DO Jumilla, and they search with great determination old, pre-phylloxeric vineyards, in height and fresh orientations, to make wines, mainly of the Monastrell variety, with Mediterranean character and complexity. Very interesting wines that will give surprises and good times.
