Guímaro Finca Pombeiras 2023

Guímaro

A 70% blend of Mencía and varieties that grow on one of the oldest farms in the family, Brancellao, Merenzao, Garnacha, Mouratón, Negreda and Sousón. Vineyards over 70 years old, with deep slate granite soils, with an altitude of 350-400 meters and south facing. It is made with 100% of the stems, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, until the malolactic starts. When this process ends, the wine remains with the mother for 30 days, to spend between 10-12 months in French oak barrels. This is a red that expresses the character of the climate and the soil of the area, that pays tribute to Pedro's family ancestors, who tries and achieves a fine and balanced wine, an elegant and fruity explosion.
