Domaine Pignier Trousseau 2023

Domaine Pignier Trousseau is a Cotes de Jura made with the Trousseau variety, a very typical Jura variety, which gives small yields of just 28hl per ha (note that in a Burgundy Grand Cru the yield is limited to 35hl / ha) .

Planted in the Val de Sorne, on the southern slope of Montaigu, with south-southeast exposure, on stoneware soils and black schistine marnas. It was planted with mass selection so there are some Poulsard plants here and there.

Worked in certified biodynamics, manual harvest. Minimum levels of sulfites in the wine (below 20mg / l), native yeasts, neither chaptalized nor with any oenological ingredient. 10 months of aging in used oak barrels, bottled without filtering on fruit days.

A wine to drink in fruit and in chalk, or to keep up to 10 years.
