Muga Selección Especial is one of the classic Riojan wines par excellence. Not only because the winery is in the very noble location of the Barrio de la Estación in Haro, but because we are facing one of those wines that are made in the old fashioned, with fermentation in oak vats and subsequent aging in barrels of their own cooperage, where the wine is refined for more than two years in the barrel, and then continues for at least another twelve months in the bottle.
