It comes from over 90 hectares of vineyards scattered throughout El Bierzo and the collaborative work of more than 180 winegrowing families. Mencía is the star, accompanied by small amounts of other varieties that are part of the history of these vineyards.
Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's critic in Spain, even compared its profile and texture to Clape's Cornas. Quite a compliment.
Vineyards that reach almost 1,000 meters in altitude, cultivated using biodynamic principles, and aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
