Fingers Crossed Unanswered Prayers Syrah 2021

Fingers Crossed 2021 Head Held Unanswered Prayers is a red wine made by Nikolas and Julia Krankl from Syrah, Monastrell, Grenache and white grapes in their vineyards in California, USA.

The 2021 Syrah Unanswered Prayers is a highlight of the Fingers Crossed red wines. Blended with just under 5% each of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah with a small amount of Chardonnay, it was fermented with 25% whole clusters and spent 20 months in 63% new French oak. The nose is a lovely blend of luscious dark fruits, exotic spice tones, charred savory accents and lifted floral top notes. The palate is lavish and lush but remains classy and impressively elegant, building dimension and aromatic nuance with time in the glass. It concludes on a concentrated note, welcomely propped up with hints of tannic structure that will benefit from further integration over the next few years. RP94+
