Description

O Esteiro represents the harmonious fusion of the three varieties that make up this triad of red wines from the Salnés Valley, masterfully produced by Xurxo Alba. His goal is to capture the distinctive freshness of Caíño, the characteristic balance of Espadeiro and the delicious expressiveness of Mencía. In Xurxo's own words, this wine embodies "maximum sanity." The relaxed presence of Mencía makes it an extremely enjoyable wine, perfect for savoring leisurely, while the other two grapes provide an additional touch of elegance. This vintage stands out for its perfumed and subtle bouquet on the nose, along with a compact, concentrated palate, endowed with excellent acidity and fine tannins.
