Description
Torremilanos Ojo de Gallo 2023 is a biodynamic clarete (blend of red and white grapes) from Finca Torremilanos in Ribera del Duero. Made with a 50/50 co-fermentation of Tempranillo and a mix of other native red (Garnacha, Bobal) and white (Albillo, Viura, Malvasía) varieties, all sourced from century-old vines (80–180 years). Fermented in concrete vats and used oak barrels, it undergoes 8–10 months of lees aging. Unfiltered, unclarified, and with no added sulphites, this wine showcases a bright cherry hue, vivid aromas of red berries, garrigue herbs, thyme, and fine mineral depths. On the palate it’s full, fresh, silky-textured with smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering, savory finish—perfect alongside grilled meats, rice dishes, and soft cheeses.
