Vino procedente la finca de la zona de Tamaguelos de Monterrei, fundamentalmente de terrenos pizarrosos y arcillosos, y de una selección de viñas viejas con terrenos de “sábrego” arenosos de descomposición granítica. Uva entera y parte despalillada. Maceración en frío durante 48 horas, posteriormente se inicia la fermentación con las pastas y levaduras propias en depósito de acero inoxidable y avanzada la fermentación se realiza un prensado , pasando una parte a inox y la otra a barricas de 500 L de roble francés de varios vinos, para rematar la fermentación. Se remueven las lías durante dos meses y posteriormente se mantiene en la barrica durante 8 meses, para ser trasegado a un depósito de inox en el que permanece varios meses, desde el que se embotella directamente. Requiere permanencia en botella para afinarse .
