Terras Gauda entra en el mundo de Rioja a través de un piloto: Heraclio Alfaro Fournier. Así llama a su nuevo vino de Rioja. La bodega (antigua Egomei), está situada en Alfaro, donde estaba el hangar de los aviones de Heraclio Alfaro, y en la que posee una finca de 100 hectáreas, de las cuales 40 son de viñedo a pie de bodega. Finca El Estarijo, de cantos rodados y suelos francos, de la que se recoge parte del tempranillo y graciano que se utilizará en la mezcla, junto a más tempranillo y garnacha de la sierra de Hez, a 750 metros de altura, aportando frescura y acidez al vino. 12 meses de crianza en barrica francesa y su paso por botella, consiguen hacer de Heraclio Alfaro, un vino rico en matices con tanino muy domado y de trago largo.
