Sei Solo is the personal project of Javier Zaccagnini (+) and is now in the hands of his son, Michael. Javier founded Bodegas Aalto and Ossian, which revolutionized the Spanish wine scene. Michael remains faithful to his father's legacy and, since 2015, has been exploring and adjusting different techniques so that each vintage surpasses the previous one, highlighting the acidity and fruit flavors that distinguish the winery's wines. In this way, he keeps alive the legacy and excellence that both he and his father have cultivated over the years. SEI SOLO is the winery's premium wine. The grapes come from vineyards around La Horra, aged between 60 and 90 years, all bush-aged and with very low yields. The plots are fermented separately, with malolactic fermentation taking place in two-year-old French barrels. Finally, the wine is aged in 600-liter barrels, 40% of which are new.
