Cerrón La Servil 2023

When part of our team tasted this wine, the reaction was unanimous, "we want more from La Servil", because of its fluidity and lightness, because it is a mineral and complex wine that will give you / us more than one moment of enjoyment. It is a mixture of 96% Monastrell, plus some Blanquilla, Moravia Agria and Rojal, it comes from a pre-phylloxera vineyard in the Paraje de La Muela and El Cenajo, Jumilla, at almost 1000 meters of altitude. Aged for 12 months in foudre and used barrels, without filtering or clarifying. A wine that expresses perfection in the area and the Mediterranean climate, fresh, very tasty, very “Coalla wine”.

At Bodegas Cerrón they know what they want and work to achieve it. They belong to the DO Jumilla, and they search with great determination old, pre-phylloxeric vineyards, in height and fresh orientations, to make wines, mainly of the Monastrell variety, with Mediterranean character and complexity. Very interesting wines that will give surprises and good times.
