Description
The traditions of each area must be respected and, almost always, the right thing is to follow them. In Cangas, all the red grapes that were in the plots were mixed to make the house wine. This wine is a tribute to the old winemakers from Cangas, it is the mixture of the red grapes grown in Cangas since time immemorial. Those that our ancestors learned to combine in their fair proportion and with those that created the simple and elegant wines they used for self-consumption.

Albarín Negro, Carrasquín and Verdejo Negro from a combination of estates with more than 30% slope, excellent sun exposure, heights above 400m, bush vines over 60 years old and floors of disintegrated slate, limestone and clay , which achieve unusual complexity and balance. In all of them, viticulture is manual and following the ancestral practices developed in the Narcea region for centuries, with very short pruning, farming with animals and organic fertilization. Aged on its fine lees for 5 months in 225L French Oak barrels with one and two wines.

The harvest in early October 2018, after a fresh and rainy spring and summer, which has resulted in scented and refreshing wines, with an enormous capacity to evolve in the bottle.

Escolinas Mezcla Canguesa is a wine made in the 21st century following the ancestral forms used by our grandparents for centuries. It is a tribute to women and men who, with their work, have allowed us to enjoy these impossible and unique vineyards today.
