Bodegas Murua is located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, in Elciego, a historic town established in the 19th century. XVI that imbues it with a unique winemaking tradition. This winery belonging to the DOCa. Rioja was the first to be part of this wine group and has a valuable and exclusive winegrowing, winery, artistic and cultural heritage. The more than 80 hectares of vineyards of different varieties are located in the vicinity of the winery and in nearby towns and are cultivated organically. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. Timely monitoring of maceration. Malolactic fermentation and decanting take place in French and American oak barrels, where it remains for 20 months. The bottle aging completes a minimum period of 4 years in the winery's underground bottle rack to achieve the optimal degree of maturation and roundness.
