The El Abundillano estate, located in Viñaspre (Rioja Alavesa), was planted more than 90 years ago with Garnacha, Tempranillo and Malvasía Riojana, accompanied by small quantities of other varieties. The estate has shallow soils, with sandstone bedrock and surface marl. Viticultural work with minimal intervention, manual harvesting and spontaneous fermentation in open vats, with short aging of about nine months in second-year barrels. Barely 1,600 bottles a year. Tentenublo is the winery of Roberto Oliván, who works his Rioja Alavesa estates, located at about 600 meters above sea level, on ferruginous sandstone soils (red soils). Vinification in cement, aging in barrels and casks of different sizes (1000, 500, 250 liters). A wine to discover.
