Coming from the La Hormiga vineyard, of 1.58 hectares at an altitude of 800 meters, and which was planted in 1922 with a medium-high density red wine from Soria (3500 vines / Ha.) Sandy soils with clayey subsoil that regulates humidity between seasons. Manual harvest, the maceration and fermentation of the wine were especially slow and the wine needed 18 months of aging in French barrels (50% new) to express its potential.
