Description

Dra Jekyll is a wine made with Giró from vineyards over 70 years old established in the Partidas Cau-Lliber area (Alicante). Calcareous loam soils. The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Fermentation in open tanks of 500 liters. The hat is immersed daily with hands to make a gentle extraction. 20 days of maceration and fermentation. 18 months of aging in French oak for various uses. Only 1500 Bottles. Violeta Gutiérrez de la Vega and Alberto Redrado set up their own project outside the family winery. The Giró is their way of life and they try to make the most of it to get its full potential. They sign different labels, but in the 2020 vintage they return to the original idea of Curii Uvas y Vinos, which was none other than to make a single wine with a classic spirit resulting from the mixture of the different plots.
