Ponce Clos Lojen 2023

Clos Lojen wine is made from Bobal grapes from vineyards that are over 30 years old, planted on clay and calcareous soils. The harvest is carried out manually, carefully selecting the best bunches. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts in 4,500-litre oak vats, using whole bunches to maintain the freshness and structure of the wine. It is then aged for 7 months in French oak barrels, which gives it greater complexity and elegance.

Clos Lojen stands out for its freshness and youthful character. On the nose, it displays vibrant aromas of black cherry and blueberry, offering a juicy and captivating profile. On the palate, it surprises with its lightness and a marked fruitiness that evokes a walk through a forest in berry season. Its bright acidity and well-integrated tannins achieve a perfect balance, ending with a deep and elegant persistence.

This is a wine that has the fruitiness of Bobal but also the freshness of limestone, which gives it a verticality that makes us want another drink.
