Description
From four vineyards located above 400m in the Cima Corgo area, in the Portuguese Douro, trained more than thirty years ago in classical bush style. Clay soils with yellow slates. It is partially vinified in wineries, with a whole bunch and stepped on foot and partially in stainless steel, with prior de-stemming. The maceration is 25 days. The wines are aged for one year in used (one year) French oak barrels and bottled after the assembly of both vinifications. Balsamic, with red fruit and spicy touches. The soil, the fruit, the spices and a smoky touch are noticeable. With a moderate alcoholic strength, it is fresh. We will not say a long drink but it is very easy to drink, without being serious.
