La Mejorada Las Norias 2018 Magnum

In 2000, the prestigious architect Rafael Moneo acquired the remains of the La Mejorada Monastery in Olmedo (Valladolid). Along with restoring the Monastery, a vineyard was planted based on Tempranillo and some other varieties such as Melot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The winemakers Florent Dumeau and Álvaro Bernardo work with extreme care and are based on the non-intervention with chemical products in the vineyard. They try to express the Terroir of La Mejorada as faithfully as possible. Pago Las Norias has sandy soil and a clay bottom, from which fresh, spicy and powerful wines come out. A prototype different from what is seen in the area and that will always please.
