Bendito Destino Piedra Mediana 2021

Bendito Destino Piedra Mediana is a red wine made by Terry Kandylis with the Garnacha variety from a vineyard planted in 1908 with northeast orientation and an altitude of more than 930 meters above sea level. It is located in the Peñafiel area (Valladolid). It is the only plot that the winery has of a single variety, a Garnacha clone of very small clusters and grapes with great acidity. It was fermented with stems in a 500-liter open barrel and aged for 16 months in a single-use 228-liter barrel that came from Madame Bize Leroy's winery. Terry Kandylis manages the winery's destinations based on a deep knowledge of the world of wine, acquired in his experience within English sommelier, being the best sommelier in the United Kingdom in 2016, marking a very interesting imprint in the production of the wines of the zone.
