Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles 2019

Ferrer Bobet is born from a coupage in which Garnacha and Cariñena account for almost 90%. Intense red both to the eye and to the nose, in which there are red fruits and cherries, with spicy touches, light and silky, with fine tannins. Ferrer Bobet is based on respect for the long winemaking tradition of Priorat. Respect for the economic and social development of this rugged and austere rocky region in southern Catalonia. Mutual respect between two old friends, Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet, passionate about the world and the culture of wine. And respect for wine lovers looking for a Priorat that reflects with purity and harmony the mineral essence so typical of these lands. Centennial vines of Cariñena and Garnacha are used, planted on licorella soils, the typical slate of the region, which in the case of Ferrer Bobet has the added advantage of being on a fresh estate, with elevation and slope. Of the 70 hectares of the farm, only 22 have been planted to maintain biodiversity, and organic viticulture is carried out in which there is no room for insecticides, fungicides or herbicides.
