Chateau Trébiac Rouge 2019

Chateau Trébiac Rouge is a red wine made by Arnaud de Butler with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties from their vineyards in Graves, Bordeaux, France.The De Butler family recovers ownership of Chateau Trébiac and its vineyards in Graves, south of the city of Bordeaux. This small property has its estate on an exemplary soil of deep gravel and has been completely renovated by Arnaud de Butler to produce delicious wines that speak to us of the typical soils of the Bordeaux left bank.The property is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, although the percentages of each variety in the wine depend on the characteristics of the vintage. The vineyard is managed in a reasoned manner, the soils are maintained by working them, Médoc pruning is practiced and production is controlled both in the sprouting phase and by green pruning. The grapes are selected in the vineyard, destemmed and partially vinified in stainless steel and partially in cement. Fermentation for 18 days and subsequent aging for 12 months in stainless steel. It is filtered very lightly before bottling.The wine shows in the glass the terroir of a typical Graves wine. Beautiful and deep color, red fruit, dark chocolate and sweet spices on the nose, round and balanced on the palate, with length and without giving up fine grainy tannin. A delicate pleasure.
