Xisto Indie Tinto 2021
Luis Seabra
The altitude, and Luis Seabra's attention to viticulture, allow wines like this Indie that is very cool at 13 degrees. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, because before there is a manual harvest, traditional fermentation in stone presses and a subsequent aging of almost two years in used French oak barrels. A wine that we love for its lightness and its class.

In the Cima Corgo region, where the soils are clayey with a predominance of blue slate, there is a small vineyard planted more than 70 years ago with a very tight planting framework, of more than 6500 plants per hectare. There is that typical mixture of the Douro in which the Tinta Roriz, the Touriga Franca, the Tinta Amarela, the Rufete, the Tinta Barroca and other varieties in a small proportion.
