Rico Nuevo Vereda de las Tórdigas 2020

Vereda de las Tórdigas is a red wine made by the Rico Nuevo Viticultores winery with the Garnacha variety planted in its vineyards in the municipality of Burgohondo located between 900 and 1050 meters above sea level. Marked presence of granite soils and the identity of the Garnacha from the Sierra de Gredos. Vinification in stainless steel tanks, with 30% whole bunch. Mixed aging in 25 Hl foudre, 7Hl concrete and Tinaja. Bodegas Rico Nuevo are located in the town of Burgohondo, in the Alto Alberche Valley, on the north face of the Sierra de Gredos. They work in a totally ecological way about 12 hectares spread over more than 40 plots. The average age of the vines is 77 years, some being pre-phylloxera with more than 120 years. The soils of the plots are mostly sand from the decomposition of granitic rocks.
