Vigno means Vignadores de Carignan, an association of producers whose objective is to create a designation of origin for wines made from old Cariñena vines over 30 years old that have been dry grown in the Maule area (Chile). The Carignan vineyards of Garage Wine are over 70 years old and are worked with traditional methods, with horses and without irrigation. The wine aged in neutral barrels of three or more years of use during two winters and was bottled in recycled bottles. If there is an original, groundbreaking and unclassifiable project in Chile, it may be Garage Wine Co., the adventure led by Derek Mossman in the Maule Valley. A Canadian who knew how to see the potential of the old vineyard, making wines that transport the plot, grape and area. Authentic terroir wines.
