Description
The Ripasso de Corte Giara is a red wine from the Veneto region produced exclusively in the Valpolicella area with the Corvina Veronese and Rondiella varieties. Closely linked to Amarone, to produce it, the best selection from Valpolicella is "reviewed" on the pomace of the raisined grapes of the Amarone itself, thus starting a second fermentation for about twenty days, resulting in a very structured and fleshy wine, somewhat alcoholic but very round. Corte Giara is a label owned by the Allegrini family, one of the most credible wineries in the area that grows its own vines in Valpolicella.
