RP93-95 Reminds me, like the 2019, of a modern take on the enchanting 1990, the 2022 La Lagune bursts with aromas of dark berries, cassis, licorice, and violets. Medium to full bodied, supple and meaty, it is a spacious and sensual wine with velvety tannins and a lovely smooth profile. At 13.8% abv, it's still of classic proportions, with a fairly high pH of over 3.8 likely contributing to its open and generous style this year.
